A couple of weeks ago I went to Oregon to go Sturgeon fishing on the Colombia River. We only caught 3 shakers but it was still a lot of fun to spend a day on the water and see a different kind of fishing. Here are a few highlights.
The first thing we did once we got on the river was catch some shad to use as bait.

Here is the second sturgeon. It was foul hooked near the tail. Sorry about the finger across the top. My dad has a had time with technology and didn’t understand he shouldn’t cover up the lens.
