In the past going fly fishing on any river has meant 3 things: allergies, tangled lines, and lack of fish. Growing up I never fished rivers, so I feel like a total amateur every time I put on my wading boots. I was hoping today would be different, unfortunately it wasn’t. The Provo was still running high and fast and made wading difficult. I fished the middle section and hit up a few holes I did well at last year. I ended up getting skunked, It seemed like most people out there were having a hard time catching fish. I went through just about every nymph in my box.
The only fish of the day caught by my dad.
