About Me

I have been fishing with my dad since I was wearing diapers. As a kid I used to dig up worms or catch grasshoppers to use as bait in the Uintas. Around middle school my dad got me my first Fly Rod. I remember the first time I used it. We had been on the water all day without catching any fish. I had probably snapped off almost every fly in my vest trying to learn how to cast. On our way into shore I got a huge bite. I was so excited I didn’t bother to set my hook, and consequently didn’t catch the fish.  At that moment I decided fly fishing was the only way to fish! As an adult I try to make it on the water at least once a week. I spend a lot of time in my float tube, and have just started fishing the Provo and Weber rivers. I will keep this blog up to date with pictures and reports of my time out on the water. Thanks for reading, check back often!
